We’re Jennifer & Lisa, the faces behind Tiptoe Studios. We have been best friends for nearly 20 years and have been in the creative world for almost 16 years. We are both born and raised in West by God Virginia and pretty proud of it! We have a passion for telling peoples stories through photographs, so let’s create something beautiful!
When we’re not taking photos, what the heck are we doing?
Jennifer- My favorite thing (well person lol) is my husband Codie. We have been married for 15 years and have 2 pretty awesome boys- Maximus, 13 and Maverick, 10. We have the cutest mini golden doodle named Milo whom I’m absolutely OBSESSED with. When I'm not spending time with my family or have my face behind my camera I'm probably chauffeuring my kids around or sitting in the bleachers at games...I mean what else do 37yr olds do these days?? I’m probably the most introverted, extroverted person you’ll ever meet. While I enjoy a good evening out, I'd much rather be snuggled up in bed before 9pm watching a TV series. Guess you could say I'm an old soul. I'm a lover of slow mornings, sunsets, bonfires, painting my nails and a good pair of fuzzy socks. I'm always late, parking situations give me anxiety so please don't invite me anywhere unless you know what the parking is like lol, I can’t add or subtract and I enjoy taking long naps on Sundays after church. God has truly blessed me with this little life!
Lisa- Oh man, where do I start? I LOVE LOVE LOVE my husband Blake! He’s seriously the kindest human you’ll ever meet. My beautiful, brave, independent daughter Olivia, 14 and Tre, 10 the smartest, sweetest boy to ever walk this earth are the driving force behind why I do what I do. We have a mini aussiedoodle named Ozzie and I rarley leave the house without him. When I'm not capturing life through my lens, you'll find me on the road, cheering on Olivia in her volleyball exploits and glamorous pageants. ( Ah, the nostalgia of reliving the carefree days of a 14-year-old girl!). In those RARE moments of downtime, I'm a pro at scrolling through Instagram, creating a wish list in my Amazon cart (though the checkout button remains untouched), and hunting for bargains in every store I come across. It's my little way of adding some excitement to my everyday routine. Even through all this chaos, I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to God for constructing the perfect puzzle of my life. Each piece falls into place at the right time, creating a masterpiece. Life's an adventure, and I'm savoring every snapshot! 📸🌟
